Overview

AI-assisted safety monitoring applies computer vision to cameras you already operate, flagging situations such as missing helmets or high-visibility clothing in defined zones and giving supervisors both live prompts and trend information over time.

This is monitoring technology, not a substitute for HSE procedures, training or competent supervision. It works when it is scoped to a small number of well-defined rules in well-chosen locations, reviewed by named people, and treated as an input to the safety programme rather than an enforcement system.
