MTT delivers hardened surveillance, perimeter protection, communication, network and safety infrastructure for energy facilities in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia — designed for classified areas, long distances and documented handover.

Energy sites combine three difficult conditions at once: hazardous-area classification, distances that defeat ordinary cabling, and a documentation standard that ordinary building work never has to meet.

MTT (My Telecom Technology) engineers ELV and ICT scopes for these environments — from thermal and fixed cameras on a perimeter, to fibre backbones between remote buildings, to PA/GA and emergency communication that has to work on the worst day the site ever has.

The architecture is built around distance and criticality. Single-mode fibre backbones connect the control room to substations, tank farms, gatehouses and remote plots, with point-to-point wireless as a fallback where a fibre route is not practical. Perimeter detection, thermal and fixed cameras and gate ANPR converge on the control room over a segmented network, alongside PA/GA and emergency communication zoned to plant layout. UPS and battery-backed distribution protect the control room, recorders and communication racks so the systems that matter most in an emergency are the ones least dependent on mains continuity.

How the work is delivered

    Site survey

    An engineer attends site, records existing infrastructure, distances, containment, power and constraints, and agrees the operational objective with the people who will use the system.

  2. Step 02
    Design

    Layouts, schematics, equipment schedules and a bill of quantities are produced so the scope and the assumptions behind it are visible before anything is ordered.

  3. Step 03
    Supply

    Equipment is procured against the approved design, with lead times and any substitution agreed in writing rather than decided on site.

  4. Step 04
    Installation

    MTT field teams install to the approved drawings, with structured containment, labelled cabling and coordination around live operations and permit requirements.

  5. Step 05
    Testing & commissioning

    Cabling is tested, systems are configured and functional tests are witnessed and recorded so the delivered performance is documented, not assumed.

  6. Step 06
    Documentation

    As-built drawings, schedules, test results, configuration records and asset lists are handed over as the basis for future changes and maintenance.

  7. Step 07
    Training

    Operators and site technicians are trained on day-to-day use, routine checks and the correct escalation route.

  8. Step 08
    Maintenance

    Preventive and corrective cover under an annual maintenance contract keeps the system supported, with an agreed scope and spares position.

Area classification first

Equipment selection follows the site's hazardous-area classification and the client's own engineering standards. Where a scope touches a classified area, MTT works to the requirement given by the operator and its consultant.

Distance-led design

Backbone routes, fibre types and wireless links are decided from measured distances and line of sight, not from a nominal site plan.

Deliverables at handover

OTDR fibre test results, area-classification and certification records for every device installed in a classified zone, PA/GA intelligibility test results, as-built drawings, configuration backups and an asset register — the pack an operator's engineering department will file against the project record.

Lifecycle and AMC coverage

Maintenance scopes are built around turnaround and shutdown planning: battery and UPS load testing, PA/GA tone and zone verification, perimeter detector testing and fibre link health checks, with corrective response times agreed against the criticality of each system.

Documentation to project standard

Cable schedules, as-builts, test records and configuration backups are produced in the format the project requires.
